While the Fischer Heating story kicked off in 1996, the roots of the Fischer family of companies trace back even further—to 1977.
That’s when the original Fischer Plumbing was founded, quickly earning a strong local reputation for reliable drain and sewer services. Though I had no hands-on plumbing background (my expertise is in business), my equity partner Bruce Robertson—a seasoned plumber—brought the essential trade knowledge we needed to acquire and grow this already thriving business.
At the time of purchase, Fischer had just seven employees and four service trucks. With its established brand, our vision was to expand by adding complementary services and combining strengths to elevate this family-oriented company. Nearly two decades later, I’m proud we’ve more than delivered.
Today, Fischer Heating & Air Conditioning stands as a key part of that growth, delivering expert heating, air conditioning, HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance services—alongside our plumbing, electrical, and other offerings. We’ve intentionally expanded into the solutions our customers truly need, always backed by the Fischer promise of quality and dependability.
In 2015, we relocated to our modern headquarters in Mountlake Terrace, North Seattle—built with our own hands to support our growing team and fleet. Its prime spot near I-5 and I-405 lets our technicians serve both sides of the lake efficiently.
